Perth’s own Taylorweir Hairdresser & Barber Training has achieved a historic milestone, winning the Australian Training Award’s: Small Training Provider of the Year, becoming the first-ever hairdressing and barbering Registered Training Organisation (RTO) to receive this prestigious national honour.

Finalists for this award were selected from the state and territory winners across Australia, representing the very best in vocational education and training. RTOs from all industries competed at a state level, with only three finalists progressing to the national stage.

In the Small Training Provider category, Taylorweir stood alongside two outstanding finalists:

SCALA The Training Company (Tasmania), delivering AI Capability and Business Leadership qualifications.

Civil Contractors Federation (Victoria), delivering civil construction qualifications to the Victorian civil construction sector

Winning against such diverse and high-performing organisations highlights Taylorweir’s excellence, innovation, and leadership within the vocational education landscape.
